• In 2012, Australia participated in the inaugural International Space Apps Challenge. Events were held across Australia and coordinated through a central, flagship event. Of the seven solutions developed over the 48 hour period, five were selected as finalists, to then be judged against others that were developed from across the world!

This year, Australia's flagship event will be at the Advanced Instrumentation Technology Centre (AITC), ANU, Canberra. From here, all Australian sites will be coordinated with regular video conferencing connections and team collaboration opportunities.

We welcome participants with all types of skills, including coding, developing, designing, creating ideas and engineering to name a few. Most importantly, if you have a passion for science, technology and creating, then this is for you!

The event will run over a 48 hour period from 20-21 April 2013. The challenges which participants will work on, are to be released quite soon, so keep an eye out on the Challenges page for more details.
