• Leicester has an illustrious history in space research with a Leicester-built instrument operating in space every year since 1967. The Leicester Space Apps Challenge event aims to combine this research experience with skills of the flourishing tech and creative business communities in the city.

What will come out of it? Great answers to the challenges set? Off-piste innovation based on NASA data? New commercial ideas? Creative interpretation of space research? If you have an open and inquiring mind then we want you to bring your skills.

The event will be hosted at LCB Depot with the support of the Leicester City Council, Space IDEAS Hub and Leicester Tech Startups.

There are 50 initial places - but we are ready to open up more if there's demand.

Check out the provisional programme here:  Leicester Schedule.
