  • Universidad Americana (UAM) is proud to be hosting the International Space Apps Challenge 2013, which is the second international hackathon to be held in Nicaragua. The dates are April 20th and 21st and this 48 hour event will be held in the main auditorium of UAM. The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space. The event is free and open to anyone who is interested in these challenges and there will be a total of 75 cities around the world participating.

    Universidad Americana (UAM) se enorgullece en ser anfitrión del “International Space Apps Challenge” este 2013, que es el segundo “hackathon” internacional realizado en Nicaragua. Las fechas son el 20 y 21 abril, este evento de 48 horas se celebrará en el auditorio central de la UAM. El evento abarca la colaboración para resolver problemas, con el objetivo de producir soluciones de código abierto pertinente a las necesidades globales de dirección aplicables tanto en vida en la tierra y la vida en el espacio. El evento está abierto a cualquiera que esté interesado en estos desafíos y habrá un total de 75 ciudades participando en todo el mundo.
