This project is solving the Deployable Greenhouse challenge.

Description

Our main goal is to create a photobioreactor, such that it transforms light energy in edible biomass and at the same time transform CO2 in O2. The process we propose to do this is thought out microalgae and macroalgae (e.g. cyanobacteria Arthrospira platensis and Arthrospira maxima.). We choose this specie of algae since it has a high protein content, all essential amino acids, and most of the vitamins and minerals reccomended for daily ingest. At the same time we're not taking chances against gravity, since this is not a vascular plant. Simultaneously we'll be doing germination and growth seeds test on our sublaboratory, controling the process of germination through inbibed seeds, using nutritients synthesized from the martian's soil. There'll be test on diferent sutrates such as gel, soil, and water. those sustrates will hold the necessary's nutrientes for the optimus growth and develoment of ours sample species.
