This is a game for students of primary and secondary education, STEM-based methodology. It begins by selecting a terrain image to explore, then the system superimposes a grid in which each cell represent the cost of travel that portion of land. Then, the system recommends the path using the A* algorithm and shows the resulting path. After that it generates the NXT-G code to program the rovers. The student has two learning instances: the pathfinding A* algorithm and the NXT-G code generated.

This project is solving the Lego Rovers challenge.

Description

Our project is a game designed to teach science and technology to students in primary and secondary education. We explain the A* pathfinding algorithm in a simple way and present two designs of Lego Rovers to build and program.
