This project is solving the Skymorph Imagery API challenge.

This project provides easy access to observational data and NEAT imagery.

• Supports lookup by target, orbital elements, or position/time
• RESTful JSON API makes it easy to create scraping programs and large batch jobs
• Imagery for top objects is prefetched for instant retrieval - over 8,000 images crawled
• Caches sky survey data to build a fast mirror of NEAT imagery

As an example, I've integrated the Skymorph imagery into another open source project, Asterank, an open-source visualization and aggregation platform. Users can browse and select NEAs, and Skymorph imagery is shown when available.
