This project is solving the Reach For the Stars challenge.
Spacerac.es is a fun, interactive game for elementary school children to build a real-life space mission from start to finish. Kids can pick their spaceship and payload and watch it all come together in an interactive and educational way! We plan to add extra features like mission success rates and launch trajectories for middle/high school students to learn about future careers in STEM fields, assisting NASA with its efforts to encourage children to pursue their dreams.
Technology used for the project: CartoDB, Leap Motion, Amazon Web Services, GitHub, Adobe Illustrator, HTML Java Scrip, CSS, MongoDB.
